What this app is

The Next Sentence is a communication coaching tool for parents. It helps you find words in hard moments. It is not therapy, not medical advice, and not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you or your child are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis line.

Who can use it

You must be 18 years or older. By using the app, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child you add to a profile.

Your content

The moments and responses you save belong to you. We don't claim any rights to what you write. You're responsible for using the app in good faith.

AI responses

Responses are generated by a large language model and reflect the selected parenting framework. They are starting points, not prescriptions — use your own judgment. We strip your child's name before any text is sent to the AI; the AI never sees identifying information about your family.

Subscription

Premium is available as a monthly ($4.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) subscription, charged to your Apple ID, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple. Free-tier limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated response.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know within the app. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
