A calm parenting coach for the moments you don't have the words — and for after you've already said the wrong one.
Every parenting app helps you before things go wrong. The Next Sentence is the only one built for after — when you've already snapped, and need to repair it.
What it is
The Next Sentence is an iOS app that helps a parent find the next thing to say in a hard moment. You describe what's happening; you get one calm, specific suggestion — grounded in a named parenting framework you choose. It's not a chatbot and not a feed. One clear thing to say, then it gets out of your way.
Three core flows: Ask Now for the middle of a meltdown, Circle Back for repairing after you've snapped, and Quick Question for a fast steer with no profile.
Why it's different
It remembers the child, not a server. It's built for repair, not just prevention — Circle Back writes you an apology script in your child's framework, something no other app does. Every answer cites the voice it came from. And privacy isn't a policy here, it's the product: no analytics, no ads, ever.
The privacy story
In a category full of apps that quietly harvest the most intimate data a person has — how they parent, what their kid struggles with — The Next Sentence does the opposite on purpose. Moments are stored on your device, not a server. Your child's name is stripped before any AI call. An on-device safety check for crisis language never leaves the phone. There are no analytics SDKs and no ad SDKs in the app at all.

The story behind it
I built The Next Sentence because of one moment with my three-year-old daughter. She asked me a sensitive, personal question — and I froze. My first instinct was to ask ChatGPT or Claude, but I couldn't bring myself to type something that private about my child into a public AI.
That gap — needing real help in the hard moment, but not at the cost of my family's privacy — is the whole reason this app exists. It's built around parenting frameworks you choose, but its most important promise is simpler: your child's information stays on your phone, always. Your child's name never reaches the AI. That's the whole point — real help in the hard moments, without handing over your family to do it.
